.through the tools of social media, but I believe through as Oprah would say, “an unseen guiding hand.” My heart was engaged at his words to create books that would engage children without scary things or danger. As all curious folks do, I engaged, said hello and the gift of friendship that has entered our lives as we’ve begun to know Anthony Molyneux and through him a host of wonderful characters both real and imaginery I asked Anthony to let me hear his voice, for I love hearing an author read their own words through their stories. Anthony writes for the best of all reasons, to give the gift of presence with his children and grand children. As most successful things go, it wasn’t a grand scheme to market to millions, or a fully planned program, but an idea that took flight that engaged his natural talents and gifts as he honed his craft. I am enchanted with the emails we share, the family moments that are sent in our new age of electronic letters. I was from a childhood of waiting for weeks for thin airmailed letters from across the pond as a young child. My own Grandfather Geddie, a fan of letter writing and enjoying folks where ever he traveled with Gross and Janes Tie Company (that’s railroad cross ties, not neck ties silly).
